Criteria

N* + 4 clubs (growth) by 30th Apr. 2027 (eg:16 clubs in division + 4 areas in division, expectation =16 clubs)
Minimum 70% of base clubs Distinguished by 30th Apr. 2027
Complete at least 2 Pathways level by 30th Apr. 2027
N Clubs submitting Club Success Plan & MOT by Sep 30, 2026 (Within 60 days of charter for a new club)
Get the AD reports filed on time for atleast 70% Clubs in both the cycles.
At least N* members completing Sponsor, Mentor & Coach Training – organised by district 224
At least N* members completing JTP or CJTP both Training cycles.
At least 10% increase in the membership payments over the base no. Of membership payments by 30th Apr. 2027
Retention – 80% of the base clubs to renew before 30th Sep/31st Mar

Complete at least 2 Pathways Levels by 30th Apr. 2027
N Clubs submitting Club Success Plan & MOT by Sep 30, 2026 (Within 60 days of charter for a new club)
All Area Visit reports to be filed by 30th Sep 2026 in the first cycle and by 28th Feb 2027 in the second cycle.
At least N members completing Sponsor, Mentor & Coach Training – organised by district 224
At least N members completing JTP or CJTP Training

Smedley Distinguished Club by 30th April 2027
Must add at least 12 new members by 30th April 2027
Presence on least 3 social media platforms
55% Percent Retention (for both payment cycles; 1st Oct, 2026 – 1st April, 2027)
1 unique member served as Chief Judge and 2 unique members trained as Judges
Any new club members joined before December 30, 2026 should complete one level of Pathways by 30th April 2027
2 members must have completed SMC and 1 SLP by 30th April 2027
At least 5 EC officer’s trained (in each cycle)
Submitted an article for District 224 News Letter by 30th April 2027
Submitted Moments of Truth by Sep 30, 2026
1 (Sponsor, Mentor or coach) name registered

Awarded to Clubs

Criteria

Complete Golden Gavel criteria.
The club should have at least one additional club mentor
2 more unique members trained as Judges
Club should add at least 20 new/dual/reinstated members of which at least 10 members to be added by Dec 31, 2026 and 15 members to be added by Mar 31, 2027. Members retention should be at least 60% during both the terms OR 3 members should serve as chartering club officers of a new community club (1 in case of a corporate club) OR must have qualified for Expand Award as of 30th April 2027
Conduct at least 2 joint online/physical meetings – community club to conduct with a campus and a corporate club in District 224 and vice versa
7 officer’s trained for both the cycles
1 additional Moments of truth to be submitted by 31st Mar, 2027
1 representation at the district council meeting (other than the District Officers)
100% Pathways Adoption till 31st March 2027
